Informed by community outreach regarding uses for Three Sisters Meadow, MCLT is conducting a feasibility study on an envisioned multi-use pedestrian path in Blue River. The proposed path would connect downtown Blue River to the McKenzie School by way of Three Sisters Meadow and the McKenzie Community Track. This idea explores creating a safe route to school for kids coming from downtown Blue River, connecting community facilities in Blue River for pedestrians, and developing a safe place to walk, run, or bike while enjoying scenic views of the McKenzie River and surrounding mountains.
MCLT has received funding from Oregon State University as part of the Recreative Recovery Program to pursue a feasibility study for this concept.
