We are excited to announce the Blue River Welcome Station is nearing completion. Located in downtown Blue River across from the O’Brien Memorial Library, the mobile welcome station offers a place for locals and travelers to pause, gather, share stories about rebuilding efforts by locals nonprofits and community volunteers, offers a public restroom, bulletin board and maps showcasing downtown rebuilding, the greater Blue River area, McKenzie River recreation opportunities and more.
Thank you Blue River commercial property owner Rob Miron, for offering his property to host the mobile welcome station. Funding provided by a grant from Lane County Community and Economic Development.
Thank you to our local builders, partners, and many volunteers who have helped to make this happen!
